CCE are currently undertaking all electrical works for a large new industrial development comprising 15 individual units in Huskisson.
Working in conjunction with local builder Matt Buckley, along with other trades, CCE is delivering the electrical infrastructure in stages as construction progresses.
The project involves extensive planning and coordination to ensure power, communications and other essential services are correctly positioned before the concrete slabs are poured and the buildings take shape.
Early electrical works have included excavation and the installation of underground conduits across the site. A network of conduits has also been incorporated into the reinforced concrete slabs, providing protected pathways for electrical, data and communications cabling throughout the development.
This groundwork will support the later installation of switchboards, internal power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, communications and essential electrical services for each of the 15 industrial units.
Scope of works
- Level 2 electrical service works and connection to the local electricity network
- Temporary builder’s power throughout construction
- Excavation and installation of underground electrical conduits
- Installation of 100 mm underground conduits for the site’s main electrical services
- Power, data and communications conduits installed within the concrete slabs
- Electrical infrastructure and pathways for each of the 15 industrial units
- Earthing and bonding of structural and electrical components
- Planning and preparation for switchboards and internal power distribution
- Preparation for communications, data and NBN services
- Coordination with the builder and other trades throughout construction
As the development progresses, our team will complete the internal electrical fitout of the units. This will include switchboards, power distribution, general power and lighting, emergency lighting, communications and data cabling, NBN connections and external electrical services.
By planning and installing the electrical infrastructure from the ground up, we can provide a safe, compliant and reliable system that meets the immediate requirements of the development while allowing for the future needs of its industrial and commercial occupants.
