Sometimes a well-chosen light fitting is all it takes to improve the appearance and functionality of a space. These three recent projects show how different lighting solutions can be used throughout the home.
Pendant light installation
Huskisson
We installed three pendant lights in the living area of this Huskisson home, providing practical lighting while creating a feature within the room.
The pendants were carefully positioned at complementary heights to form a balanced cluster. Their perforated shades allow light to filter through while adding texture to the space.
Accurate placement was important to ensure the fittings worked together and hung at suitable heights for the room.
Backlit bathroom mirror installation
Nowra
For this bathroom renovation, we installed and connected a round illuminated mirror above the vanity.
The integrated LED backlighting provides soft, even light around the mirror, making the vanity more practical for everyday use. It also highlights the feature wall tiles and complements the bathroom’s modern tapware and basin.
The mirror includes a touch-sensitive control, allowing the light to be operated directly from the mirror.
Electrical installations in bathrooms must be carefully planned to meet wet-area safety requirements while working with the position of the vanity, plumbing and surrounding finishes.
Outdoor LED strip lighting installation.
Mollymook
We installed LED strip lighting along the wall of this covered outdoor area in Mollymook.
The lighting was positioned beneath the horizontal trim to conceal the strip and cast a soft, even wash of light down the wall. This provides useful illumination without the glare or strong shadows that can be created by a conventional wall light.
The slimline installation allows the strip lighting to blend neatly into the wall during the day.
