All electrical works for a knock down rebuild in Jervis Bay.

Vincentia | South Coast NSW

We recently had the pleasure of completing this new high end second dwelling with local builder AK Buckley. This included, full electrical scope for a stunning new two-storey boutique Airbnb property in Vincentia, Jervis Bay near Nowra.

Level 2 electrical works

Each level of the home now offers self-contained accommodation, designed with both comfort and function in mind.

We incorporated low-voltage and energy-saving features throughout to reduce the property’s carbon footprint, in line with council energy-efficiency regulations, including BASIX and Section J compliance, while also keeping power bills manageable for the owners – especially important in short-stay rentals where guests may not be conscious of energy use.

Electrical features for ambience and comfort

To maximise guest comfort and enhance the long-term value of the property, we integrated:

  • Extensive external lighting around the garden and entryways for safety and visual appeal
  • Downlights with dimmers throughout for flexible ambiance
  • Stylish wall sconces to elevate interior design
  • Motion-sensor LED strip lighting in the kitchen and bathrooms for night-time visibility and safety
  • Reverse cycle air conditioning plus indoor and outdoor ceiling fans for year-round heating and cooling
  • Underfloor heating installed throughout to keep guests cosy during the cooler months

Smart additions

  • Ample power points for charging devices, laptops, and kitchen appliances
  • A hardwired neon sign saying “The Springs” to encourage guest selfies and social media sharing with the view of boosting the property’s online visibility

This project is a great example of how thoughtful electrical design can elevate both the style and functionality of a short-term rental.
